'Arrow' season 4 episode 16 spoilers: Oliver mends a broken heart

Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) continues to feel the aftermath of his breakup with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) in the next episode of "Arrow" season 4.

Based on the trailer for the episode titled "Broken Hearts," which will air after a month-long hiatus, Oliver is still hurting after Felicity broke off their engagement when she discovered that he was hiding a lot of things from her, including his son William (Jack Moore).

In a sneak peek at the episode that will air on March 23, Oliver tells his former girlfriend Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) that it is hard for him to accept his situation with Felicity. "This doesn't seem fair, that I could save the city and not save my relationship," the Green Arrow said.

But Rickards believes that there could still be a chance for her character and Oliver to get back together in a future episode of "Arrow" season 4.

"I think they are each other's soulmate," Rickards told Entertainment Weekly. "I don't think it's that easy to let go of someone that you have shared such a deep connection with, even if they were hiding things from you. She might be able to take off the ring, but I don't know if she can lose the intertwined connection of her heart, so we'll see."

Rickards's statement is also supported by a Twitter update from executive producer Marc Guggenheim, where he shared a photo of Oliver and Felicity's wedding.

Meanwhile, TVLine reported that "Supernatural" actress Madison McLaughlin was cast in a role in "Arrow" season 4.

The CW has yet to reveal what role McLaughlin will portray in the series, but it was reported that she could be a perfect match to play the role of a "smart, snarky" teenaged character named Rebecca, who just escaped a dangerous cult.

More details about McLaughlin's role are expected to be released soon.
