Based on several reports, the iOS 9 update is said to bring significant improvements, which include better privacy features, improved display, and more efficient device performance.
It was also reported in Digital Trends that iOS 9 will bring a smarter and more proactive phone assistant Siri, and this feature will be called Proactive Siri.
According to the report, Siri will study the phone owner's everyday habits and formulate options that will suit the owner based on Siri's observations.

The battery feature is reportedly called "Low Power" mode and it makes the device detect if the phone is not in use and lying on a surface, so that it won't use up power to turn on the display, although the user can still be alerted by notifications.
Apple Maps will also undergo tweaking for iOS 9. It will offer the Transit feature for train, metro, and bus routes.
Tapping on the stations should provide the user different options to travel and make commuting or traveling more efficient.
Meanwhile, Apple's upcoming software update has been confirmed to be available in different iPhone and iPad models, including iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, which is definitely big news for users.
