Android smartphone users have been waiting for the newest software to hit their devices. Google successfully rolled out Android 5.0 Lollipop to a handful of units including the LG G3. Interestingly, a newly-leaked photo suggests that its predecessor, the LG G2, will get the update next.

According to GSM Arena, a F320L version of the LG G2 was seen donning the Android 5.0.1 build on top of the device's own GUI in the image. The site believes that users of the said smartphone in South Korea will get it first. This is because: one, domestic markets are first in getting the taste of the new stuff, and two, the LTE-A model used to take the screenshot of the leaked image is only available in the said country. However, this does not discount the fact that the new software is coming down LG G2's way.

In other Lollipop-related news, the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop over-the-air update will be launched to the Moto G, both the original and the next-generation model. This claim, however, is still unsubstantiated by Motorola itself and changelogs are still absent, Android GS reports. But the need for it is obvious as Lollipop came with bugs that could certainly do with polishing. Besides, the company is fast–moving when it comes to the brand new software, with its offerings being first to have Lollipop hot and fresh onboard.

Android GS reports that some users have been receiving the update, which is about 50 MB. The Android 5.0.1 update for the first generation Moto G goes by system version 220.21.25 and build number LXB22.46-25. The one for Moto G 2014 has system version 22.21.25 and build number LXB22.46-25.

Android 5.0.1 is being released in phases so it may take a while to cross boundaries this early. A notification that will prompt its installation will pop out the moment the device becomes entitled to the update. But it would not hurt to check. To see if the update is available, users can navigate through Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for updates.

The carol assures us that “We three kings of Orient are…” and tells us they were “following yonder star”. Can we be sure there were three of them? Were they kings? Where in the Orient were they from?
