The Brown family will back on the small screens soon for the "Alaskan Bush People" Christmas special. Fans are now excited to catch up with the stars and get an update on the condition of Ami Brown.

Followers of the show are highly concerned about the health condition of Ami since she was diagnosed with lung cancer. The Brown matriarch is already undergoing chemotherapy and she also had a second round of treatment. Reports indicate that the second round of chemotherapy was already done. It is said that Ami is currently on her road to recovery. However, this news is not yet confirmed and there are no updates yet as to the current condition of Ami.

Since there is no official update about Ami's health, fans are hoping that this will be tackled in the upcoming "Alaskan Bush People" Christmas special. Fans will be happy to see Ami on the show especially after their last update that she only has 3 percent chance of survival. According to Monsters and Critics, one of the main highlights is the family's special surprise for her.

Previous reports revealed that the Christmas special was filmed in Colorado. Before Discovery announced the special episode, there were already sightings of the Brown family in the said area. This is the place where they will build their next Browntown after they left Alaska.

Ami was also seen in Colorado with Billy. Although she was just sitting on her wheelchair, fans were happy to see her in good condition. Some critics noticed that Ami still has hair, making them think that the show is faking her cancer. The critics noted that those who undergo chemotherapy will lose their hair as a side effect.

Apart from the family's surprise for Ami, there are no other known details about the Christmas special yet. For sure, it will give updates to every member of the Brown family since this is what fans want to hear. Also, there is no news yet about season 8 due to the condition of Ami.

The "Alaskan Bush People" Christmas special will air on Friday, Dec. 15, at 10 p.m. EDT on Discovery.
