AJ Lee and CM Punk update: marriage on the rocks?

The thing about social media is that news is somehow brewed, especially for high profile people like AJ Lee and CM Punk (Phil Brooks). And that seemed to be the case when the social media world made a big fuss about Lee's surprise 'unfollow' move on her husband's Twitter account.

But the story did not end there. What made the whole thing colorful was that Punk tweeted some sweet nothings which led many to speculate that Lee and Punk are undergoing some marital problems.

The whole issue started Monday when for some reason, AJ Lee had unfollowed her husband. The whole issue was further compounded when Punk tweeted the following:

Lee has since re-followed her husband after that issue and now fans are beginning to believe that something is up between the two. Then again, there are others who are presuming that the couple were just messing around. Again, in social media, things like these coming from high profile celebrities are bound to garner a lot of attention.

Lee and Punk got engaged in January, 2014 and it will be recalled that Lee had taken a leave some time in June. Lee has been the subject of several controversies, including her speech at the Slammy Awards and of course that Twitter incident involving her and Stephanie McMahon.

Punk on the other hand is set to make his official debut at the UFC. Lee was again in the controversial middle at that time, taking time off from the WWE to be by her husband's side. At that time, many were unsure if Lee would come back though she eventually did.

While Punk is gearing up for his UFC debut, Lee is busy as well preparing for her match for Wrestlemania 31. Lee is set to pair up with Paige as they go up against Nikki and Brie Bella.
