Agents of SHIELD Season 3 cast spoilers: Luke Mitchell to become regular fixture

Agents of SHIELD season 3 ABC/Marvel

Starting Season 3 of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, there will be at least two known Inhumans who could be working with Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the team.

One if of course long-time regular Skye (Chloe Bennett) and the other will be a character that made his debut in Season 2, Lincoln (Luke Mitchell).

It will be recalled that Lincoln entered the picture when he met Skye in the Afterlife. He was seen as mysterious before, now knowing if he was on the side of good or evil. He had his opinions and disagreements with Jiaying and Gordon (or the Reader) and his coming out party came into play when he helped Skye and sided with SHIELD to fend off the impending destruction that Jiyaing had in mind.

Lincoln, gifted with the ability to manipulate electricity should be a good addition to Coulson's team although the usual cloud of doubt is still up in the air as far as SHIELD's trust working with the Inhumans is concerned.

There is no clear word on what Lincoln brings to the table although his knowledge on the Kree weapon could be an idea.

As far as putting his abilities to good use is concerned, he could team up with Skye or eventually become a special SHIELD agent but not with some untrusting agents who are expected to keep a close watch on the new Inhuman in their midst.

So the question now is what role Lincoln would have and if he would indeed get in the same line with Skye and the rest of team SHIELD.

With the Agents of SHIELD of Season 3 still a long way off and expected to return in the Fall of 2016, expect a lot of wild guesses and speculations coming out left and right as viewers brace themselves on what to expect from Coulso, Skye and the rest of the Agents of SHIELD.
