Zayn Malik returning to One Direction?

The thought is possible but will not be happening any time soon.

One Direction fans apparently went into a frenzy when Malik's bio page went back up over at the band's site. However the question now is was it ever taken down?

Further to that, a hashtag over social media Twitter (#ZaynisComingBack) came out for some reason, all the more giving hope to 1D fans that the singer may be returning to the group soon.

All that however was doused when HollywoodLife.com released a report saying that Malik wants to prove something first as a solo artist before entertaining thoughts of rejoining the group. Malik has a standing invitation to rejoin One Direction but it looks like if that would ever happen, it will not be anytime soon.

Zayn left the group back in March 25, citing his inability to handle the pressure of being part of the world's popular boy band. As of the moment, Zayn's immediate plans are to kick off a solo singing career and establish himself as a solo artist.

"Zayn won't return to 1D, and certainly not before he can prove to himself and the doubters that he can forge a successful career on his own."

Moreover, Zayn is reportedly distancing himself from the remaining member of the group. He has also been spotted dyeing his hair in different colors in what many speculate is a move to establish a new kind of character for the former 1D member.

Despite Malik's departure, the remaining members of the group (Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson) continue to be a popular attraction to fans. Word has it that the group plans to stay intact while also embarking on solo careers.

People.com bares that the remaining members could be taking a page out of another English act – the Rolling Stones.
