In a couple of months, "Xenoblade Chronicles X" will finally be out and appease the gamers who have been longing to see what the next game installment has to offer.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a game exclusively made for the Wii U and will be out by Dec. 4.

Pre-orders for the Special Edition of the game kicked off last week. With some folks apparently failing to get their copy via Amazon, the GameStop website served as an alternative for the ones who were unable to place their orders.

Although the site had been on and off as far as offering pre-orders, it seems like everything is fine at least for now. In fact there is a new option recently added — the "pick up at store" one.

This means that buyers don't have to worry about their copies suffering from potential damage due to shipping since they can simply choose a store near them and pick up their copy. Included in the Special Edition package are the following:

  • a concept artbook consist of 100 pages
  • a USB drive containing 10 tracks from the game's soundtrack and is fashioned after the game's Lifehold Unit
  • a limited edition matted 5x7 card featuring an artwork from Takashi Kojo, the game's illustrator

As far as the game itself, gamers situated in Western countries will be glad to know that they will get the four downloadable content (DLC) characters for free. Such include Axana, Boze, HB, and Yelve. Lynlee, another character, was also modified as she will be cast but two years older than her previous age of 13.

Sadly, such is not the same case for the ones who are situated in Japan. To get hold of the characters, a fee of $4 will be needed to do so.

Aside from the characters, other things to look forward to include the "Xenoblade Chronicles X"'s strategy guides. The standard and hardcover collector's edition will be available at the game's launch.
