Xbox Live Games With Gold free games for August 2016 Xbox/Microsoft

This month, Xbox Live Gold members are once again treated to four free games. Two are already available for download, "Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate" and "Spelunky," while "WWE 2k16," and "Beyond Good & Evil HD" will be available by mid-month.

Major Nelson has announced that Xbox One owners can now download "Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate" until the end of the month. It will let them be their favorite characters from "Dynasty Warriors Next" and "Samurai Warriors 3." It is a hack-and-slash video game, so expect a lot of action.

"WWE 2K16" is the ultimate wrestling game that was released last year. There are 120 wrestling characters that can be played in the game, including the McMahon trio. Arnold Schwarzenegger was also included in the game but only for those who pre-ordered it. Its availability will only be in the second half of August.

For the Xbox 360 console, "Spelunky" is now available until the Aug. 15 . The game is an open-source indie video game that will let its players be an spelunker and explore caves to collect treasures, fight enemies, save damsels in distress and dodge traps. There are no two caves since they are procedurally generated.

Last for August is "Beyond Good & Evil HD," which will be available from the Aug. 16 till the Aug. 31. It is the remastered version so players can expect improved textures. It s soundtrack was modified as well. The game is about a martial artist, Jade, who works as an investigative reporter who exposed an alien conspiracy. Players will be fighting enemies, solving puzzles and collecting evidence by taking photos of them in order to save the planet and its inhabitants.

"Tumblestone," which was part of July's games, is still available for download until Aug. 15.
