Three new Xbox 360 games can now be played using the Xbox One via the Backward Compatibility feature. The new games are "Burnout Paradise," "Rayman Legends," and "Pure."
Major Nelson recently tweeted the latest games that are now included among the 280 plus games in the program. Game fans that own the physical disc of the new games can simply put it in and will be available in the Xbox One game library.
"Burnout Paradise," currently priced at $14.99, is the fifth game in the main series. It was developed by Criterion Games, published by Electronic Arts, and was released back in 2008. Players will then have to compete in car races in an open world environment at their own pace and level, which is one of its unique offerings. There are also day and night races in the game. Players can also complete online with other racing aficionados.
"Rayman Legends," from Ubisoft, will still cost gamers $39.99 to enjoy. The platformer game will allow up to four players, depending on the format, all at the same time and make their way through various levels. There is a total of 120 levels, in which 40 of those are remastered versions from the "Rayman Origins."
"Pure," a disc only game, was released back in 2008 and was developed by Black Rock Studio. It was published by Disney Interactive Studios and offers an off-road experience with a quad-bike. It offers three game modes: Freestyle, that requires players to perform tricks; Sprint, a short race, with about two jumps; and Race, contains lots of jumps and neck-bending turns.
Meanwhile, Treyarch's shooter game, "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" is still the game many Xbox One players are waiting to be added to the list. There are around 200,000 Xbox One owners that have requested the game to be included in the Backward Compatibility program by Microsoft. Other titles from the series also occupy five slots for the top ten most requested games. Two games from the series are already included in the program, "Call of Duty 2" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops," added MobileNApps.
More games are expected to arrive on the Backward Compatibility list in the months to come.
