Xbox Games with Gold free games for October 2016 has been made official just recently, and many games that were rumored to be included next month failed to show up on the list. Players are now hoping that some of them might make it next month.

The BitBag previously reported that "Watch Dogs" could be one of the games for the next month, since its sequel game is scheduled to be released on Nov. 15, and having it on the list of free games would act as a promotion for it. Microsoft can still use the go with the idea if they choose to include the game for November's batch.
"Iron Man 2," from Gameloft and Sega, was released six years ago. Xbox fans will be happy to have some superhero game in the lineup, even in the future. Microsoft can also include one of their racing games, "Forza Motorsport 5." It will be nice to commemorate its third year anniversary if it will be included for November. The same holds true for "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag." The game will also turn three years old.
Other games that were predicted to arrive by next month were "Borderlands 2." "Assassin's Creed: Unity," and "NBA 2K16." Now, these are all AAA games and may or may not be included in the near future as part of the free games to be offered by Xbox to its Gold members.
As it is, the official October 2016 free games are "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings," valued at $19.99 which will be available from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31, and "The Escapists," priced at $19.99, and is ready to launch starting Oct. 16 until Nov. 15. Both games are for the Xbox One. For the Xbox 360, the games are "MX vs ATV Reflex," retailed for $29.99 and will be available to download from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15, and "I Am Alive," $14.99, from the Oct. 16 until Oct. 31.
Carrying over from this month is "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China," which is free to download until Oct. 15. Gold members still have a few more days left to download "Earthlock: Festival of Magic" and "Mirror's Edge." The two games will be available until September ends.
