WWE TLC 2015 latest news: Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns announced for Dec. 13 PPV

Roman Reigns got a short taste of being World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) heavyweight champion, but his moment was expectedly ruined by Sheamus, legally thanks to the privilege that the Money in the Bank briefcase carries.

Reigns won it all as speculated but did not leave the Philips Arena with the belt last weekend after Sheamus cashed in and snuck the title from under his nose. The frustration was visibly seen on the Big Dog at the time but now, he has recovered and is looking forward to getting a shot at recovering the title this coming Dec. 13 at the WWE TLC pay-per-view (PPV).

The twist was, of course, more storyline-based than usual, as the WWE creative team continues to find ways to improve their sagging ratings. There were some who didn't like what had happened after the supposed end of the PPV but then again, there were some looking for something better.

Reigns has had a tough road to the WWE title journey, mostly backstopped by the WWE Universe who have been practically dictating the company on what to do. And the victim in the middle of it all is Reigns who has improved by leaps and bounds.

Then again, having a tested heel wrestler in Sheamus is seen as something that could help Reigns, but seeing that the title has been forever been held by a heel wrestler does leave something distasteful if you think about previous WWE title reigns. In fact all titles are held by heel wrestlers right now except for the WWE Divas title.

Alberto Del Rio has the U.S. title while Kevin Owens hold the Intercontinental title; the New Day, on the other hand, hold the tag team title. The only non-heel wrestler is Charlotte with the WWE Divas championship.

There are some who believe that Sheamus will find a way to keep the title at WWE TLC, meaning the company is moving to 2016 with the Celtic Warrior as champion. It seems that Reigns' long journey to the top continues and whether that is good or bad for him and the WWE is left up for debate.
