WWE rumors: Ziggler makes return on WWE RAW

It looks like Dolph Ziggler will be back in harness soon. In fact, it can come as early as Monday when World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Raw kicks off.

Ziggler, fresh from re-signing a new pact with the WWE, was taken out of the WWE scene temporarily on account of an injury, according to storylines. Of course, Ziggler is not really out with one; but he had to take some time off to film an upcoming WWE movie, "6:42."

Apparently the movie is deemed part of Ziggler's new contract after the Showoff was reportedly seeking a big push from the company. Rather than the WWE title scene, it looks like the push came with a starring role in the upcoming WWE-backed film.

Upon his return, Ziggler is expected to resume his unfinished business with Rusev. It will be recalled that Ziggler was taken out of commission after being pummeled by Rusev in a WWE RAW episode, after the Showoff ended up with the Bulgarian Brute's former handler Lana.

Rusev has since found a new WWE Diva by his side in Summer Rae; but apparently, the Russian is not sold on the idea of seeing his former aide ending up with Ziggler. (Could it be another type of scenario when Randy Savage and Elizabeth back then parted and ended up marrying?)

Anyway, Ziggler's return is expected, although some believe it comes a bit earlier than expected. The two WWE stars are anticipated to collide at WWE SummerSlam; and it seems that Ziggler's return is meant to set the stage for the upcoming pay-per-view set for Aug. 23, 2015.

Rusev has been tied up with Kevin Owens as of late. However, Owens, a former WWE NXT champion, seems to be brewing a feud with Cesaro, meaning their matchups are nothing more than just regular ones set by the WWE.
