CM Punk is finally scheduled to debut in the mixed martial arts world at UFC 203, set to happen on Sept. 10. However, if he decides to come back to WWE, there could be several fights waiting for him.

It was previously reported how CM Punk was so disappointed with WWE, where he worked for several years, and said that he will never go back again. But CEO Vince McMahon has apologized and even tried to bring back the former WWE champion to the company. McMahon even left the doors of the WWE open for CM Punk and said he will be glad to have him back.

Now, CM Punk is all set to face Mickey Gall in the octagon and it seems that nothing can stop it now, but if in case he decides to be back with WWE, Sportskeeda mentioned a number of rivals that the former pro wrestler can face.

The list starts with Roman Reigns, WWE's new golden boy. Although they have faced each other in the past, the timing will be perfect, since both have an interesting backstory. Fight-wise, Reigns has greatly improved inside the ring in the last year.

AJ Styles and CM Punk have also faced each other before but it was outside WWE. "The Best in the World" and the "Phenomenal One," as what they called themselves, will give wrestling fans a great night if they will come face to face. Both wrestlers are on top of their game right now.

At the top of the list is Shinsuke Nakamura, which would be a dream fight for many hardcore WWE fans. Their records speak for themselves. Nakamura has many belts to his name -- a former three-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and a five-time former IWGP Intercontinental Champion. CM Punk, on the other hand, is a former seven-time world champion in WWE and the longest-reigning champion of this era. He was also the first one to become a Money In The Bank winner twice.

For the meantime, fans are looking forward to UFC 203, where CM Punk will be debuting as an MMA fighter.
