WWE rumors: John Cena may be Undertaker's last ride for WrestleMania 32

The Undertaker has been active as of late, something a bit out of the ordinary considering he usually makes on-call appearances on the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) shows.

He is currently in the middle of a feud with Brock Lesnar, but it seems that the storyline could very well end at WWE: Hell in a Cell which will takes place in October.

Assuming it does end, the WWE universe fast-forwards to next year and a WWE pay-per-view (PPV) that is closely associated with the Undertaker is Wrestlemania 32.

Everyone knows that the event is one of the most popular and climactic stage in the WWE scene, especially considering that it is the prime event where the Undertaker makes his rare appearances.

More so, it is the reason behind the current feud between the Deadman and the Beast Incarnate and the initial belief is that the two would be settling the score next year. However it looks like with the two facing off at Hell in a Cell, the said billing could very well be the end of that storyline unless the WWE plans otherwise.

Looking ahead, who could the Undertaker be facing?

There are a lot of names in mention. There is the Rock, Sting, Steve Austin, and even Seth Rollins. The Rock poses a big question mark while Sting is pretty much in the same vote especially since the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) icon is currently injured after his match with Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions.

Steve Austin has repeatedly said that he doesn't have plans of donning his tights despite constant belief that he would be wrestling while Seth Rollins is likely out of the picture as well since many are speculating he would be either defending his WWE title (unless he eventually loses it somewhere in the coming months) or facing his mentor, Triple H.

With all the possible names taken out, how about the current United States champion John Cena?

Cena is of course the acclaimed face of the WWE and could be a fitting star to send the Deadman into retirement.

With Cena working much of the middle card fights right now but certainly one who could be pushed to a main event card such as that of Wrestlemania, seeing him go up against the Undertaker makes plenty of sense.

The two have had battles before and should Undertaker lose his final match and be given the proper send-off (and respect), Cena looms as the most sensible choice at least for now.
