WWE rumors: Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar II happening at Wrestlemania 32?

Bill Goldberg has been out of the wrestling scene, but now, the word is out that the big guy may be returning to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) scene and that it will be at Wrestlemania 32.

Word of such comes from WrestlingNewsWorld.com which, unfortunately, is a subscribers-only site for the ones who want to view the full report.

Forbes.com, however, sheds some excerpts from the report, alleging that the WWE and Goldberg are currently in talks of a possible tiff involving him and Brock Lesnar.

If true, this would be the second time the two forces will go at it. Unfortunately, that last match held at Wrestlemania 20 wasn't exactly a hot one, with both getting booed and eventually leaving at the time.

So would a second meeting be better? Again, that depends on how the WWE creative team performs.

Goldberg has hinted that he still had that "itch" to return to wrestling and Lesnar isn't (yet) involved in a feud with anyone else.

Lesnar has been linked to possibly feuding with Bray Wyatt, and Sheamus did hint he would love to face the "Beast Incarnate" at Wrestlemania 32.

But of the mix, it is obvious that a Goldberg vs. Lesnar match would be more appealing despite that forgettable past.

A concern does come up with regard to the working relationship between Goldberg and Vince McMahon. Both haven't really seen eye-to-eye and Goldberg did stress that should he return, it has to be something in the form of a respectable contract.

Right now, it remains to be seen how the WWE will approach such, although it does seem doable. Lesnar had the same issues before with the WWE and yet, he has managed to stay on to this day.

Even though he is pegged to turn 50 soon, Goldberg will still undoubtedly be a big draw. He may not have to compete each night and likely get a contract similar to Lesnar. If things work out, the WWE is likely to benefit from his re-emergence in the wrestling scene.
