WWE Rumors: As Batista's Hollywood career takes off, will he return to wrestling?

Dave Batista, better known to WWE fans as the Animal has been conspicuously absent from the wrestling scene. Apparently the main reason is that Batista has been busy in the world of show business, the last of course was his role as Drax the Destroyer from the Guardians of Galaxy fame.

Batista's last appearance came in Wrestlemania 30 and he quietly exited the scene apparently due to Marvel's Guardian of Galaxy and never really made a return.

Batista is one WWE superstar that needs no introduction. He brings a lot of excitement though some believe he lacks the skills in the ring. But what Batista lacks in talent he does make up with power and of course entertainment, something that places him among the ranks of stars like Dwayne the Rock Johnson or even John Cena.

Batista is set to appear as the main villain in the next James Bond flick Spectre and (though still kept in the dark) is expected to return for Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

With seemingly a full plate, Batista has never been known to make these as an excuse for shunning a possible WWE appearance. So the question crops up, could Batista make a WWE return any time soon?

According to Batista, he may return but for live events. Though the Animal said that the WWE programming isn't that great right now, returning for the sake of the WWE fans who will obviously approve to see the former WWE heavyweight champion back in action.

Batista is open to a ring return but it may not be as regular or stagnant as before. Though he may not admit it, he has been kept busy doing movies as of late. However, Batista has proven that despite his busy schedule, he can and may return once the opportunity arises.

The bad part of it all is that his appearance may be limited, maybe similar to how the Rock has been appearing on and off WWE shows or PPVs.
