WWE rumors 2016: Roman Reigns guarantees victory at 2016 Royal Rumble

Roman Reigns has proven to be a force to reckon with, but will all that hold against 29 other World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) stars plus some expected outside interference directed by WWE chairman Vince McMahon?

Looking more like a video game of sorts where the boss will have a lot of aces under his sleeve, Reigns intends to take on all takers (inside and outside) the ring this coming Sunday when the WWE holds its 2016 edition of the Royal Rumble.

Reigns will be the first entrant in the battle royal, wherein a lot of interesting figures will be vying to unseat him and walk away with the title.

Among the favorites are Brock Lesnar, Sheamus, and Triple H, if rumors are true that he is one of the surprise entrants (or is it returnees?) for the night. There are darkhorses as well like the Wyatt quartet (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, and Braun Strowman), Kevin Owens, or maybe even Daniel Bryant (if the WWE clears him).

But the best bet of them all is Triple H. He is the odds on favorite and part of it includes the fact that the WWE COO is highly rumored to be his opponent for WrestleMania 32.

While Reigns believes he can fend off all of the stars out to dethrone him, there is another factor to consider — the WWE Universe.

The 2016 Royal Rumble marks exactly a year when the fans weren't fine seeing him win it all. It was the point wherein the WWE had to do damage control and if he should win it again, the company finds itself back to square one and likely ending up cleaning its act once again.

Reigns has worked hard to where he is. There is no doubt the Big Dog can fend off everyone, but the storyline is something that comes into play.
