WWE rumors 2015: Is Roman Reigns too perfect to succeed John Cena?

With not much to work on, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has obviously pinned its hopes on Roman Reigns moving forward.

Seth Rollins was previously pegged to carry the WWE, although that choice seem to have fallen short. After the Architect went down to injury, it looks like the WWE has now little resources to work on, although the creative team is tasked to dig deep into their bag of tricks to make that happen.

Reigns has been compared to John Cena a lot, but there is a certain flare missing. Rather, it could be Reigns' character overall as someone who could most likely win every night (on even terms) that has led to the WWE fans failing to accept him as the next star in the ranks.

Sheamus has, of course, been tasked as the next one to try and help boost Reigns, something many refer to as the sympathy routine.

So far, the storyline is something new, but seeing a guy with the ability to take down multiple players hardly qualifies as someone who can gain the adoration of fans.

Right now, Reigns is set to face Sheamus at WWE TLC, although it doesn't look like he will be champion anytime soon. Seeing how Sheamus can easily apply the heel-like maneuvers such as escaping as champion through disqualification or count out, it won't be surprising if the same thing happens at the coming pay-per-view (PPV) set for Dec. 13.

Also, the faction-type of a WWE scenario has taken place, and this begs to ask if the WWE is using this as a delaying tactic until the regular stars are up to the task to perform once again.

Some may not see that now, but rivalry between two stables like in the WWE Attitude era did somehow divert the attention away from the WWE heavyweight title.

In short, the main focus will be rivalries from this point which somehow veers Reigns away from how Cena achieved his greatness. It may be a different routine, but seeing that the Big Dog has failed to win the hearts of the WWE universe for now, the recourse can hopefully give him the needed boost.
