WWE rumors 2015: Hardy Boyz returning soon?

The best years of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was perhaps during the Attitude Era back in the late 90s. In a year filled with factions and perhaps the peak in wrestling entertainment, such are considered the best times the WWE has ever had.

Could the WWE be bringing back the good old days?

Well, if good old JR's words are to mean anything, such could be the case.

Everyone knows how the Dudley Boyz have made a surprise return. Not only are they back in the WWE scene, they are teaching the young turks in the tag team division a thing or two about real hardcore wrestling in twos.

Although D-Von and Bubba are no longer the young wrestlers of old, they have shown that they still have it. So if a legendary tag team like the Dudleys were able to successfully make an impactful return, could there be more ahead?

JR hints at possibly another legendary tag team that could make a return to the WWE scene — the Hardy Boyz. Composed of Matt and Jeff Hardy, the duo was known as one of the exciting tag teams the WWE had back in the days.

Matt and Jeff were known for their daredevil maneuvers, which bring to mind the classic TLC (tables, ladders, and chairs) matches that the Dudleys have shown a glimpse of lately.

Could Matt and Jeff reunite to take the WWE by storm once more? Such could be a possibility. Considering that the current crop of WWE tag teams have failed to resolve the Dudleys who have been winning left and right, seeing former foes to spice up the tag team division isn't such a bad idea.

It remains to be seen, of course, how daring the Hardy Boyz would be in the event that they do make a surprise return. Seeing that both have matured by this time, one can imagine the physical toll that TLC/ hardcore matches could have on them.

Perhaps high-flying moves like the popular Swanton Bomb of Jeff Hardy could suffice?
