WWE Rumors 2015: Dolph Ziggler's contract still being negotiated

Just when the WWE Universe thought that the contract issue with Dolph Ziggler was a foregone conclusion, the Showoff reveals that such is not the case.

Apparently Ziggler and the WWE are still in a standoff as far as his future in the company is concerned.

Appearing at the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show, Ziggler shed some more light on the real score between him and the WWE.

"I'm thinking about it right now. I had a request for an upcoming contract that would end a few months from now, maybe two or three months from now, and they requested back what they would like, I countered another offer and we're waiting to finalize some things."

Ziggler's contract has been something that many were talking about just last week, amid speculations that the Showoff could be leaving the WWE soon.

It was earlier reported that Ziggler could be headed to Lucha Underground, where he stands to join another former WWE wrestler and close buddy, John Morrison (Mundo).

Further to that report, Ziggler was looking to be given a push in the WWE, and this must happen before his contract expires.

The last time Ziggler had a big push was way back in the WWE Surivor Series, when he was part of Team Cena that went up against the Authority. He was also a prominent figure at Wrestlemania 31 and at the WWE Money in the Bank, though he didn't exactly end up on the winning end.

Ziggler has been on top several times already. He is a former United States, Intercontinental and WWE Heavyweight champion. Right now, he is tied up in a feud with Rusev, a storyline that involves ravishing Russian Lana.

If thing don't work out, Ziggler is looking at greener pastures with either Lucha Underground or even TNA. Could the WWE find a way to make ends meet with Ziggler?
