John Cena's break from the World Wrestling Entertainment could soon be over as reports stated that he will make a comeback ahead of the expected schedule.

According to a report from F4WOnline (via Wrestling Inc.), the 38-year-old Cena will return to WWE TV ahead of the holiday tour, which is likely to be on December 13th during the TLC pay-per-view special.

The event is said to take place in Massachusetts, Cena's hometown, so it will be an appropriate location for his return, noted WhatCulture.

Originally, Cena was scheduled to return at the New York City house show by December 26th but insiders say that he'll likely be coming back earlier than that.

In another report from F4WOnline, it stated that Cena could possibly make an appearance at an event on December 19th.

Former WWE champion Brock Lesnar is reportedly wrestling on that date as part of his new contract, but Cena was also included in the advertising for that event, which will be held at the Forum, Los Angeles, California.

There was no mention as to who Cena or Lesnar will be fighting with come December 19 but according to speculations, the former could have a face-off with Alberto Del Rio, WhatCulture reported.

For the December 26 event, it was advertised that he will be fighting with Sheamus to defend his U.S. title, the same report mentioned.

Cena's break after his show in "Hell in a Cell" was associated with several rumors including him being part of a reality show and marrying his long-time girlfriend, Nikki Bella.

However, marriage rumors were dismissed immediately. On the other hand, Hollywood Life exclusively reported that NBC producers want the wrestler to be part of "The Celebrity Apprentice's" new season.

John Cena is a big name in the entertainment industry and he'd do well in the show but his tight schedules, and the news about his comeback this holiday, would surely get in the way of making it work.
