WWE John Cena news 2015: champ taking a vacation?

Is there something bothering John Cena right now?

Well, word has it that the current U.S. champion is taking some time off due to personal reason, although it wasn't mentioned what exactly.

The personal reason is definitely not about marriage. Cena is former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Divas champion Nikki Bella's boyfriend, but contrary to rumors, both are not tying the knot. Nikki is set to appear in the WWE European tour so that angle can be scratched.

If not that, then what? Is Cena burned out? Is there someone in the family that needs attention? A broad personal issue statement is certainly something that could mean anything. Considering that Cena has been the obvious draw despite the negative chants, the situation is bound to pose problems for the WWE as far as the rating game is concerned.

Cena has not yet been booked for the upcoming WWE pay-per-view (PPV) Hell in a Cell, although it may still be too early. WWE Hell in a Cell will take place on Oct. 25.

If true, Cena is most likely to lose the U.S. Title at some point after winning it back from Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions. Will he lose it or simply vacate it?

The 38-year-old and 15-time WWE champion has been doing the mid-card bit for quite some time now and seeing that the WWE has been leaning a lot on Rollins, he is unlikely to be pushed to the main event scene for now. Could this be a reason?

The thing right now is that folks are adding a lot of color to the whole rumor. Is the personal reason valid or a cover-up for something vaguer?

If he does go into a hiatus, chances are he may be out until WWE Royal Rumble next year. So what is the real score for the WWE star?
