'WWE 2K16' patch 1.02 update lands on consoles, brings bug fixes, stability improvements

In order to keep "WWE 2K16" in tiptop condition, 2K Sports has released a patch for the newly released wrestling simulation. The update is noticeably massive and is trusted to fix a whole host of bugs and issues that get in the way of the promised seamless wrestling experience.

Patch 1.02 takes care of every aspect of the game in need of fine-tuning. For its size, it is expected to eliminate the notorious bug that makes Undertaker "invisible." In a gameplay video, fans can see Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin being destroyed by an unseen fighter.

The wrestler supposed to be doing the beatdown is Undertaker, who, thanks to the glitch, does it all from apron, making gamers feel as if he has some telepathic or invisibility powers of some sort. The patch should mend this issue as well as a whole lot more "WWE 2K16" irks.

The extensive patch notes reveal that tons of gameplay improvements can be expected. Gamers will no longer see a character "warp unnaturally" when performing a move or pinning a grounded opponent. Problems on reversal indicators, non-functional finishers and annoying delays will be no more.

Patch 1.02 also helps with the stability of online "WWE 2K16" matches and gets rid of the occasional lags and animation fails. The update also has something for the game's visuals, which had gamers mostly complaining about camera propping and clipping issues among others.

2K Sports also makes necessary adjustments on MyCareer including tweaks on the Custom Superstar panes, camera movements during interviews and facial animation. The game's menu, audio and the WWE Universe also received quite the polishing up.

Gameplay and stability fixes aside, patch 1.02 also brings in support for New Moves Pack, preparing the way for DLC prior to its official launch. 2K Sports is yet to lock in a release date for the pack though, but details should flood soon.
