'WWE 2K16' promises massively improved game this October

With about a month to go, "WWE 2K" gamers will finally get a chance to see if their wishes have been granted by the game development team behind "WWE 2K16."

To recall, not all were impressed with what "WWE 2K15" had to offer, citing the in-game features a bit limited. At least on that aspect and based on rumors, such has been addressed.

It has already been said that there will be 120 WWE playable characters that will not include retro-themed characters. So that alone should be something to look forward to, seeing the amount of work and improvements that the upcoming "WWE 2K" game will be rendering.

Game modes should also be something to keep a close eye on, seeing that the previous one offered a bit of a limitation as far as the career mode is concerned as well as the fact that the Divas segment was sorely lacking.

As far as gameplay is concerned, it looks like the development team have done extensive improvement to bolster the things that characters and users can do once they get hold of the game controller.

That includes each seeing each character armed with a repertoire of stock reversals, a move that could come in handy once a player finds himself in an awkward situation. Characters will get a set of stock reversals which will allow them to regenerate as well through matches.

Then there is reportedly an added 'major reversal' which should help in boosting the momentum of characters in the game.

Stamina of characters has been a problem for most, but this time, working or rest holds will help regenerate stamina while sucking them out from their opponents. By all accounts, holds and submissions will be entirely different so that should be something to watch.

In summary, it looks like "WWE 2K16" was redesigned to be more skill-based rather than wrecking those buttons from constant mashing. Seeing the major overhaul and claimed improvements, "WWE 2K16" looks promising so watch out for it this coming October 27.
