'WWE 2K16' DLC, Windows PC release date news: Hall of Fame Showcase DLC arriving next week; 'WWE 2K16' coming to PC in March

 WWE 2K16 Official

Fans of "WWE 2K16" will soon get their hands on the game's upcoming downloadable content (DLC), the Hall of Fame Showcase.

The DLC update will bring new features including 20 playable Superstars, six new arenas, and seven classic matches. According to the WWE 2K official website, the "Hall of Fame Showcase" update will be available beginning Feb. 23 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. For personal computer (PC) players, the DLC update will be included once "WWE 2K16" becomes available to the platform on Mar. 11.

As stated in the announcement, the DLC will only focus on players included in the 2015 Hall of Fame, as well as their opponents. Among those who will make an appearance in the DLC are The Rock, Alundra Blayze, Larry Zbyszko, Arn Anderson, and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, among others.

The "WWE 2K16's" DLC update for consoles will be available for $9.99, but it can also be purchased with the Season Pass for $24.99.

Current DLCs include the Legends Pack, which features legendary players Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Trish Stratus; and the New Moves Pack, which includes 30 signature moves popularized by wrestlers.

Meanwhile, fans of "WWE 2K16" who are PC players are delighted with the news of the game's PC release. "WWE 2K16" has been well received since being launched in October 2015, so it's only fitting that the game extends to the Windows platform. The PC game will also include Arnold Schwarzenegger as a playable character in two "The Terminator" versions.

What makes the PC version different from the console ones is all previous DLC updates will immediately be included when the game arrives to the platform next month for a price of $49.99.

The PC version of the game will arrive in less than a month, but it is already available on Steam as a pre-order game.

Fans of "WWE 2K16" should tune in to the game's official Twitter and Facebook page to catch the first look at the Hall of Famers, which should be posted anytime soon.
