WWE 2015 rumors: Is John Cena injured once more?

It was perhaps something that happened during the match between John Cena and Kevin Owens.

The two wrestlers were fighting each other at a live event in Hampton, Va. but a video (check below) may indicate that the former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champ could be hit with another serious injury. This time, it could be his neck or back after awkwardly landing while trying to attempt a sunset flip.

It will be recalled that before WWE SummerSlam, Cena had injured his nose in a regular show match. Cena was out of circulation for quite some time, although he was able to wrestle at the pay-per-view (PPV).

Cena is expected to try and recover the U.S. title against Rollins at WWE Night of Champions. However, that tiff could be in jeopardy if he is indeed seriously injured once again.

The WWE has however quashed all worries about that, saying that Cena is fine and well. So this means that there is nothing to worry about, although that failed maneuver did look pretty serious and something that could keep him out of the WWE shows once more.

As for Owens, the former WWE NXT Champion could be lined up for an Intercontinental title showdown against Ryback despite the fact that he has been regularly feuding with Cesaro.

So will Cesaro interfere? Better yet, will Cesaro be included in the match? Anything is possible now considering that WWE Night of Champions is still several weeks away. The match could be made official anytime in the coming weeks.

As for Cena, here is hoping that he is indeed healthy and that the said maneuver did not cause additional injury to the former champ.

Could Cena retake his U.S. title against Rollins at WWE Night of Champions? Rollins will be competing twice on that night, the other against Sting where he will also defend his WWE Heavyweight title.
