WWE 2015 news: Former strongman is newest Wyatt Family member

Word about a third Wyatt Family member has been out for some time now but sadly, the new face who appeared was none of the names mentioned in rumors.

Names that were previously mentioned as possibly joining Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper include Erick Rowan, Adam Rose, and even Bray's brother Bo Dallas. Even the tag team of Ascension was speculated to join the Wyatt family before, but none of them materialized.

Instead, appearing at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) RAW the night after WWE SummerSlam was a monster named Braun Strowman.

Virtually an unknown, Strowman decimated Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose that night, standing tall and looking pretty fierce. Known better as Adam Scherr, the 31 year old big guy has actually been around in the WWE, although his debut becomes his big push in the WWE regular roster.

He has long toiled in WWE NXT but has made cameo appearances. For those who can look back at some of Adam Rose's Rosebud entourage, Strowman is one of them along with another new Diva in Becky Lynch.

Strowman is nicknamed Abigal's Black Sheep, and everyone knows by now the devastation he can do. Will it merit a third member as well for the duo of Reigns and Ambrose? Or will it be a tag team matchup with Bray Wyatt taking a step back, calling the shots in the same way he did with Rowan and Harper before?

A bit of a background on Strowman reveals that the hulking big guy is a former strongman competitor. Listed as 6 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 385 pounds, a report from the Bleacher Report reveals that Strowman didn't start to wrestle at a young age. And as far as his accomplishments as a strongman competitor is concerned, well, he has garnered a lot.

He joined the WWE in 2013 and went straight to the developmental center in Florida. He would then head to NXT, taking him a while before finally getting where he is right now.

The question now is will Strowman be the last member or will there be more to come? Check out Bray Wyatt's introduction of the Wyatt Family's newest giant member below:
