What lies ahead for Sting after Wrestlemania 31?

Sting aka Steve Borden Wikipedia

Wrestlemania 31 may be headlined by the huge collision between current WWE Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns but there are a whole lot of other matches to look forward to.

There is that interesting ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental title, Randy Orton seeking payback on Seth Rollins, John Cena aiming to break Russev's streak and of course that classic match between Bray Wyatt and the Undertaker.

But another match that should be interesting to see would be a battle of wrestling legends – Sting vs. Triple H.

Sting has been known to be the wrestler who fought to keep the defunct WCW alive against the very same company he is now with so the colossal match between him and Triple H is another highlight that many fans are anxiously awaiting.

The match between Sting and Triple H is long overdue. But a question in the minds of many WWE fans is on what would be next for the Stinger after his match with Triple H. Will he continue to appear or call it quits?

Sting (Steve Borden) hinted that this could be his last wrestling match though he did add it may all depend on how the fans would react. So on that note, it doesn't look like Sting is completely closing the doors for another appearance.

It could happen at Survivor Series (again) or perhaps in Wrestlemania 32. As far as who he wants to meet, Sting bares that he wants a match with the Undertaker.

Sting had originally wanted to face the Undertaker but eventually settled for one with Triple H. And rumors are now flying that another potential match for Wrestlemania 32 would be that, following earlier hints that the Rock would be going up once more against Brock Lesnar.

For now however, Sting seems to be satisfied with getting it done one match at a time. On what happens next ,well, he is keeping the options open.

Don't fail to watch this marquee match between Sting and Triple H when Wrestlemania 31 unfolds this Sunday starting at 7 p.m. ET from the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
