In less than half a year's time, "Wolverine 3" will hit the big screen, but the film's plot remains a mystery since no information has been released so far. Now, it has been confirmed that Mister Sinister will have his cinematic debut in the upcoming movie.

The end-credits scene of "X-Men: Apocalypse" showed Essex Corporation's agents collecting DNA samples from the experiments on Wolverine. The company is owned by Nathaniel Essex who goes by the name of Mister Sinister. Fans are fully aware of this, but nothing has been confirmed, until recently.

Thanks to the special features of the recent "X-Men" movie, fans had access to a commentary by movie producers Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg. A conversation between the producers during the post-credits scene hints that the mad scientist will definitely debut on the movie (via Cinema Blend).

The producers were originally planning to tease "Deadpool 2," but that idea got scrapped. They then moved in an entirely different direction, setting up Mister Sinister and X-23, another clone and could possibly even better, for the upcoming "Wolverine 3."

The report also mentioned that Richard E. Grant will be playing the famous villain. This is also a well-kept secret by the production team. His role was described to be a mad scientist, consequently a moniker to the villain Mister Sinister.

However, movie director James Mangold posted a question on Twitter for the fans, which suggest that the mad scientist may not at all be present for the 2017 movie. He said, "Uh. Who is Mister Sinister? Sounds kinda corny. Please advise."

Meanwhile, before August ended, Mangold directly answered a fan, via Twitter, who was asking for any news or update for the third chapter of the saga. Mangold replied, "Working on it every day in edit room, Vince. You'll hear and see things very soon. Glad you're pumped & I hope we surprise you."

Given this response, it seems that a trailer for the movie will soon be available.

"Wolverine 3" is scheduled to hit the big screen on March 3, 2017.
