Paradise and peace in Alexandria was too good to be true and from the looks of it, all that will be imminently doused once the season finale of the "Walking Dead" airs this coming Sunday.
It will be recalled that the humans have found a safe and peaceful world in Alexandria but like in most cases, such is too good to be true or too good to last. And if rumors hold true, it will be the humans themselves who will be destroying the so-called paradise known as Alexandria.
In focus is Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) who is in pursuit of wife-beater Pete. This scenario has placed Rick in conflict with Deanna (Tovah Feldush) who is considered the leader of Alexandria. However, all this leadership recognition towards Deanna could change if the conflict is not checked.
And all this could hinge on what becomes of Pete (Corey Brill). If the comic-version of the series would be followed, then viewers can expect Rick to execute Pete which in turn could spark the expected fall of Alexandria.
So could Alexandria continue to exist with these conflicts and housing of humans who have their own secrets which seem to be no surprise? For people who have followed the series, reaching this point of conflict is to be expected. Such is something that normally arises when everything seems to be perfect.
And while there could be some folks such as Deanna and Michonne (Danai Gurira) who may try to patch or remedy the issues that were brought about Pete's true character, chances are that Alexandria's peaceful habitat may soon come to an end.
So with that thing in mind, it looks like the people will be on the run again and try to hold their own against the undead.
