Lifetime has announced the premiere date for the season 3 of American drama television series and Peabody Award winning series "Unreal." Season 3 will debut on Feb. 26, 2018 along with American actress Caitlin FitzGerald entering the show as the first female suitor named Serena.

As highlighted in the latest trailer released by Lifetime, FitzGerald's characters will be a charismatic and bossy persona who will bring nothing but challenges to leading characters Rachel Goldberg portrayed by Shiri Appleby and Quinn King played by Constance Zimmer. Serena will micro-manage the fictional reality program "Everlasting" and will surely find herself butting heads with Goldberg and King. There is still no information on whether Serena is a good or bad character in the series.

Several plot theories presented last year came true with most of them focusing on a female suitor. Some critics and viewers also pointed out that a female suitor for season 3 is a great decision to generate more viewers. The first two seasons had two male suitors and many people are requesting for season 3 to fill the house with handsome men fighting over one lady.

There were also some suggestions of changing production setting as some comments criticized the show being bounded by the Everlasting house. Some ideas from the series' audience talks about more side stories about supporting characters like Everlasting's host Graham (Brennan Elliot), Everlasting's gay producer Jay (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman), and Everlasting's camera operator, Jeremy Caner (Josh Kelly).

The first season of the series was a big success for Lifetime. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 98% rating. The season 2, on the other hand, received an 87% from the review site.

Fans are hoping for a better season and for more elements to be fully utilized like feminism. Zimmer will make her directorial debut in season 3 with the help of Appleby.
