"Transformers 5" is scheduled to hit theaters in 2017 and will start filming on June 15. The fourth sequel will also introduce another lead character, Nickelodeon's Isabela Moner.

The "Transformers 5,"movie shoot date will run from June 15 until the month of October. This was previously announced in a post on acting-auditions.org on the casting call for the movie. Actors, extras and crew members will be required to work in the United States and in United Kingdom.

Moner confirmed just recently that she will star in the coming film. Last month, it was rumored that the actress was courted to be in the movie. She mentioned the good news through her Twitter account, in which she said, "I'm gonna be in some movie franchise called #Transformers5 or something? @ParamountMovies robots?"

The upcoming movie, as were the previous ones in the franchise, will be directed by none other than Michael Bay, and will bring back Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager. Peter Cullen will still be the voice actor for the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime. Akiva Goldsman is also on board and will join the writing team, together with Matt Holloway. Holloway was responsible for "Ironman's" screenplay, Movie Pilot reported.

Jerrod Carmichael of "The Carmichael Show" and "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" will also be joining the cast. Writer and actor Stephen Merchant of BBC's "The Office" and "Life's Too Short" as well as Jean Dujardin of "Up for Love" and "The Wolf of Wall Street" are both rumored to be joining the film.

As with the plot, there are rumors that the story will incorporate Unicron, known to fans as the planet eater. This robot wants to be the center of the universe and will stop at nothing. Additionally, the home world of these robots, Cybertron, is also said to be back in the "Transformers 5," since the plan was abruptly changed the last time, as reported previously by Design and Trend.

"Transformers 5" is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 23, 2017.  Two additional sequels are also scheduled to be released on June 8, 2018 and June 28, 2019.
