"Total War: Warhammer" fans are looking forward to an upcoming update for the game. AI factions will now be able to recruit Regiments of Renown, which will bring more excitement to the gameplay.

Game developer Creative Assembly recently announced the upcoming feature on the game's subreddit. The game will now allow AI to recruit their own Regiment of Renown units that have boosted stats and more abilities than their standard counterpart. The company said, "We listened to your feedback on Regiments of Renown, and we've got some news about what's coming in the next update."

It also added: "The major AI factions in a race that has Regiment of Renown units will now recruit them provided the player is not a faction within their race. Essentially only one faction per race can have Regiments of Renown units at any given time, and the player will always take precedence. So, if you are playing as the Empire and you go up against Ostland, they will not be able to recruit Regiments of Renown."

The studio also mentioned that players opting to go against the Vampir Counts, which will have the Chillgheists on their side after the update, will find a more exhilarating game.

Currently, AI factions are not allowed to recruit these special units, which will change overtime. Some players may think that it will now be difficult to beat AI factions with such recruits. Fortunately, Creative Assembly also decided to put in a restriction. The unit selected by a "Total War: Warhammer" player will not be an option anymore for the AI. Players will also get to choose their preferred unit first. The "Grim and Grave" DLC introduced the Regiments of Renown units.

The studio failed to mention an announcement regarding the update's arrival date. Fans are also looking forward to the next DLC for the game.

"Total War: Warhammer" is a turn-based strategy video game for the Windows PC.
