'Total War: Warhammer' DLC latest news: 'The King and The Warlord' DLC making its way out next week

After dropping several hints about the contents of the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" DLC, Creative Assembly finally announced via Steam that "The King and The Warlord" DLC will center on the quests of both the Greenskins and the Dwarf factions.

The new "Total War: Warhammer" DLC will come with two new Legendary Lords that will introduce new quest chains, several magic items, as well as skill trees. These rival characters are expected to add more challenges for the players belonging to both the Greenskin and the Dwarf camps.

According to the game's official Facebook page, the two legends are both determined to claim the coveted ancient Dwarf-Hold. The first one is Belegar Ironhammer, who is known as the True King of The Eight Peaks. The other one is known as Skarsnik, the Warlord of The Eight Peaks. "Their destinies entwined, the King and the Warlord must face one another in a final, desperate battle to determine the true ruler of Karak Eight Peaks," the promotional teaser revealed.

It will also introduce two new lords. One of them is the Dwarven Runelord, which is the recognized as the most skilled Runic Arts practitioners. The other one is known as the Night Goblin Warboss, which possess a conniving and impulsive behavior.

The "The King & The Warlord" DLC of "Total War: Warhammer" will also come with six brand-new battlefield units like the Crooked Moon's Squig herd, the Night Goblin Squig Hoppers, and the Nasty Skulker, as well as the Clan Angrund's Bolt Thrower and Bugman's Rangers. It will also come out with 22 new elite Regiments of Renown.

The second "Total War: Warhammer" DLC will be released on Steam on Thursday, Oct. 20. It will be sold for $8, but those who will pre-order the expansion pack will be able to purchase it with a 10% discount.
