Many players of "Tom Clancy's The Division" are being compensated for issues that happened to the online multiplayer video game in the past several days. Developer-publisher Ubisoft has offered to compensate players who were affected by missing characters and backpack and daily assignment glitches by handing out in-game credits or Phoenix credits.
Ubisoft will be handing out hundreds of Phoenix credits to "The Division" players that were affected by several issues. Those affected by the "missing characters" and "backpack" bugs will receive 500 Phoenix credits and High-End crafting material – 10 each for fabric, division tech, gun parts, tools and electronics. Those logging in for the daily challenges are going to be given 150 Phoenix credits. The daily challenges has been missing for three consecutive days, VG247 reported.
GamesRadar added that the news was brought out by Yannick Bancereau, Community Developer for "The Division," during one of the State of The Game streams on its Twitch channel last April 12.
The missing character bug started after a major update, version 1.1, was rolled out. The said patch also included the Falcon Lost Incursion, four sets of gears and weapons, two High-End named weapons, a new loot-trading system, weekly missions, group spectator camera, and Dark Zone Supply Drop.
The infamous back-pack glitch started a month ago to players who have crafted their own High-End backpacks. Players were either locked out, suffered tremendous loading time, or were unable to access their accounts.
The missing daily missions started a few days before the scheduled release of update 1.1.
Phoenix Credits can be used to purchase High-End gear and blueprints, while players can use the crafting items to create specific items and weapons.
"Tom Clancy's The Division" is considered one of the top multiplayer games that is currently being enjoyed by a lot of gamers out there. However, typical for any video game, it also suffered some unfortunate events.
The company is said to roll-out the compensation within the next two weeks.
"Tom Clancy's The Division" is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
