Players who grabbed a copy of "Titanfall" beta ahead of the full game release would easily understand that the game is simply awesome to be ignored.

Now, game developer Respawn Entertainment may have proven just how well loved the game is.

Respawn CEO and founder Vince Zampella recently announced that "Titanfall" has reached a 10-million milestone.

Zampella posted a photo on Twitter, showing everyone in the "Titanfall" team celebrating in an office, with a matching caption that reads:

"Celebrating 10 million! Thanks to everyone, we love you all!"

While it wasn't clear just what the number signifies, most reports assumed that it refers to the company's sales from the game. It may also mean the total number of game players hooked to the game.

Whatever the number signifies, "Titanfall" is, without a doubt, a big entry into the world of gaming, garnering several awards and positive critical reviews upon its release back in March 2014.

The first-person, multiplayer shooter game was made available for Xbox 360 and personal computer (PC), as well as Xbox One, which was considered relatively new at that time.

The game was also considered as one of the most anticipated games of 2014, according to GameRant.

Following its success, talks of a sequel to "Titanfall" were quickly confirmed by the Respawn boss himself.

Speaking to IGN, Zampella revealed that the company is indeed developing an unnamed sequel.

"So we're working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we're working on that," Zampella said, according to the report.

The sequel, referred to as "Titanfall 2" as of the moment, is slated to be released sometime in 2017 and is expected to be available in multiple game platforms.

As of today, "Titanfall" is more readily available in different game consoles. The game can be played on PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
