Fans waiting for "Titanfall 2" got even excited when developer Respawn Entertainment, announced a free DLC that will bring in a new set of weapons. The company firmly believes that players do not need to spend a lot in order to win matches in a game. Players also do not need to spend too much in order to enjoy their upcoming game.

Respawn's Josh Medina recently posted on the game's subreddit that the team does not want to surround its players with a "pay wall." This is normally the situation in most multiplayer games, where players need to equip themselves with high-caliber weapons, which they need to buy with real money.

Medina said, "We don't want to put anyone behind a paywall it's all about keeping the community together." He also added that they didn't think a pay-to-win scheme is good to use in a game.

He also added that there will be things to keep its fans busy. There will be free "cosmetics" that players can get for free in loot cases.

The announcement was very much appreciated by fans waiting for the game. They have even expressed their interest in paid weapons and character cosmetics to support the company in their future endeavors.

Fans are now speculating that the Double Barrel Shotgun might arrive as a DLC. The weapon existed in the early stages of the game, but it was later removed. "This existed early on but it didn't fit in at the time maybe in the future it can come back," Median stated.

In another post, Medina also revealed additional information with its "Bounty Hunt Banking" event locations. There will only be two locations per map as per the announcement.

Meanwhile, Respawn Entertainment previously shared what players can expect with "Titanfall 2's" single-player mission when it released the "Story Vision" video clip. The first game of the series did not contain a single-player mode, which made the studio excited to show it to their followers.

Game director Steve Fukuda and other members of the team shared that there will be big action moments, which are fun, and low-key sequences when players think about their next strategy. There are also scenes that are just about Jack, the protagonist, but there are also instances when he and his Titan, BT, must work together to achieve a specific goal. One scene showed Jack being hurled by BT onto a platform that is a bit far away from their location.

"Titanfall 2" will be released on Oct. 28 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
