Former NFL star Tim Tebow truly has a heart of gold. The Christian athlete recently paid a visit to two brothers diagnosed with the same type of cancer in order to boost their morale.

Preston, 22, and Parker, 19, were diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer just six weeks apart, according to Fansided. They have the same type of cancer like their father, in addition to brain tumors that have to be surgically removed.

The health challenges these brothers are facing are truly difficult, but after Tebow paid a visit and spent the whole weekend with them, things did not seem so bleak.

Tebow's visit was part of the Tim Tebow Foundation's W15H Program. The brothers were flown from their home in North Carolina to Opelika, Alabama by private plane. The next day, Tebow surprised them at lunch.

"One of the really cool things that I heard about your story, is after your brother got sick, that you started praying that you would get sick, too," Tebow told Preston.

God seemed to understand that the brothers needed to go through this health ordeal together. "It felt like it wasn't fair for him to have to go through something like this alone," Preston answered.

After their talk, the three of them enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of Auburn's football stadium. Then during the weekend, Preston and Parker were treated as VIP guests in the Auburn v. Georgia matchup. Tebow, who was giving his analysis of the game for ESPN's SEC Nation, even gave a shoutout to the brothers.

"Preston and Parker are two amazing brothers who are fighting a rare form of cancer," Tebow said, "but are doing it with so much courage and passion!"
