'The Young and the Restless' spoilers, plot news: Adam makes a risky move

Thursday on 'The Young and the Restless', Nikki speaks to a man named Angel and he urges her to recall what happened. She flashes back to the whole family gathering around her. She thinks this has something to do with the Newmans trying to outnumber the Abbotts until Dylan arrives. Immediately she realizes what's about to go down—it's an intervention.

Nikki admits that she drinks sometimes and says that they're making a big deal about it. She says that she doesn't have to justify a little drink every now and then when she's stressed. Neil reminds her that he used to think the same way, until he killed Paul and Christine's baby because he chose to drink instead of addressing his problems.

Nikki attempts to leave the room, but Victor won't let her. Her children and grandchildren tell her that they care about her and that they can't stand to see her suffer. Nikki says she feels like everyone is judging her, and Victoria reminds her about dropping the baby.

Victoria urges her to get help or she will never allow the grandchildren to be around her again. Yack tells her to do the right thing. Nikki starts to rant, until the glass slips from her hand and she passes out.

Nikki finds herself in a hospital and sees her family in tears. She hears Victoria saying that the only thing her children will know about their grandmother is that she drank herself to death. Nikki asks them not to go but it's as if they can't see or hear her. An orderly wheels a body past her, and she realizes what happened.

Nikki is at the cemetery and watches her family and friends at her grave. Everyone leaves except Victor, and Nikki sits with him at the bench.

Nikki is snapped out of the moment and is talking to a counselor named Angel in rehab. He tells her that they can help her.

Here's what to expect on 'The Young and the Restless' on Friday, May 29:

Adam makes a risky move, Stitch tells Abby that Ashley may have admitted that she has feelings for him; Jack and Ashley have an argument.

'The Young and the Restless' airs from Mondays to Fridays at 12:30pm on CBS.
