Lies and lost loyalties seem to be the theme for this week's episodes of "The Young and the Restless."

According to the spoilers for the episodes airing from March 21 to March 25, the Newmans will be hit with more problems as Victor's (Eric Braeden) trial moves forward.

Victor will get a visit from his son Adam (Justin Hartley), who convinces him to accept Christine Blair's (Lauralee Bell) offer of a plea deal. The Newman patriarch seems to be open to the idea, but he will not go for it without urging Adam to take over the company.

However, Adam's wife Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will not be happy with Victor's condition and will discourage him from agreeing to become the new head of Newman Enterprises. She is afraid that Adam will soon become manipulative and scheming just like his father, but he reassures her that he will never do that.

But despite Chelsea's objections, Adam will still contemplate about the offer and will discuss it with his sister Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and brother Nick (Joshua Morrow). It seems like Adam wants to make a decision after carefully studying his options. Could this mean that Adam will agree to Victor's conditions so his father will escape jail time?

Meanwhile, Dylan (Steve Burton) will begin to get worried about Sharon's (Sharon Case) mental health when her mood suddenly changes after he asks her an innocent question.

Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will take their friendship to another level in the upcoming episodes of "The Young and the Restless."

While Phyllis continues to make her move to make sure that Victor will pay for all his crimes, she and Billy will spend more time together to carefully lay out their plans. But it seems like too much time together will lead them to a very compromising position where the attraction between the two becomes stronger.

"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays on CBS.
