A few things have been happening with "The Witcher 3's" upcoming DLC, "Blood and Wine." First, a release date popped out on a Polish online store. Then a local game store in Jakarta opened up the pre-orders for the DLC, displaying the physical box for the soon-to-be-released expansion pack. Lastly, CD Projekt Red, the game creator and publisher, officially released the cover art for their upcoming DLC. With all of these happening in a span of a few days, fans are undoubtedly excited already.

Every bit of information matters to "The Witcher 3" community, so when online shop GRYOnline posted the upcoming expansion pack with a June 7 worldwide release date, fans immediately spread the word. Although many believe that the date is just a placeholder, there are also hopes that there is some truth to it. CD Projekt Red had previously moved the release to the second half of the year, so it made some sense.

With all the commotion, GRYOnline has put down the ads and contacted WCCFTech to clear things up. The date, they said, was merely a placeholder since the online store's system would not accept a "Q2" entry for the date, hence, June 7 was placed.

On Wednesday, April 14, a Neogaf user who goes by the handle Exentryk posted a box art for the upcoming expansion that came from a local store in Jakarta. It shows Geralt, the main character of the game, sitting on a throne-like chair, holding up a chalice filled with either blood or wine. The box art also mentions that two Gwent card decks, 154 cards in total, will be included in the purchase. These cards can be used in a mini game which is similar to "Magic: The Gathering."

That same day, CD Project Red decided to let fans have it and released the covert artwork for the "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine."

"The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" DLC is said to offer an additional 20 hours game time and will take place in Toussant, a new region for the game. The area is said to be a land untouched by war but holds an ancient and bloody secret.
