Rihanna is set to make an appearance on the hit show during its premiere, which will be on Sept. 21.

Rihanna is not the only famous artist to take on the role of an advisor on The Voice. For the past three seasons of the show, big names such as Taylor Swift, Chris Martin from Coldplay, and Nate Ruess of Fun, have also served as a mentor to the talented contestants representing the coaches.

Meanwhile, Levine and Shelton will be back on the show as expected, as they have been around since the first season back in 2011.

It was also confirmed that Williams' will return and it will be his third season on the show. He first joined last season seven together with Stefani, who took a break from the show on season eight as Christina Aguilera took over.

Aguilera won't appear in this year's competition, but plans to do so for the tenth season, according to an E! News source. Aguilera is currently focusing on motherhood and her new music.
