While Enzo keeps on falling in love with Bonnie, and Damon is trying to win her back, they have to put their feelings on the side for the meantime and try to work and fight together in order to save her. The body count will continue to grow as they 'Kill 'Em All."
The synopsis for episode 20, as posted by The Futon Critic, goes: "With Bonnie's (Kat Graham) life at stake and an uphill battle ahead of them, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) lead the charge to save Bonnie before her condition worsens. Stefan (Paul Wesley) reluctantly teams up with Matt (Zach Roerig) for the sake of Bonnie and uncovers the truth behind Matt's anger towards him. Elsewhere, determined to help her best friend, Caroline (Candice King) joins Alaric (Matt Davis) on a mission and quickly realizes how much she's missed her former supernatural lifestyle. Finally, after their plan takes an unexpected turn, Damon makes a fateful decision that will forever change his relationship with Bonnie." .
It seems to be that fans will be treated with another action-packed episode until the next one since all three episodes are centered on one theme: to save Bonnie from the brink of death. Damon needs to start piling up the bodies that Rayna has given him on a list. This needs to be done first before Rayna performs the ultimate sacrifice, to offer her own life in order to save Bonnie.
The last episode also mentioned that Bonnie has a week to live, so her friends need to act immediately and fast.
Aside from Enzo and Damon being oddly paired, Stefan is paired with Matt for a mission. This mission is also said to reveal the real reason why Matt is so mad with Stefan. The hunch is, it involves Caroline.
A promo trailer is also made available by The CW for the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries." A portion of the trailer shows people running for their lives and from the looks of it, it seems like Yvette was freed from the vault, and after four years of being locked up, her top is fuming and just want to kill everybody on her path.
The synopsis for episode 20 also hints that Damon needs to make an important decision and it is in connection with his relationship with Bonnie.
The upcoming episode was directed by Kellie Cyrus while the script was created by Chad Fiveash and James Stoteraux.
Episode 20 of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 airs on The CW channel on Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m. EST.
