"The Vampire Diaries" episode 19, "Somebody That I Used to Know," was an episode that a true fan could wish for. There was romance, as well as lots of action. Bonnie was sick, Enzo was risking his own life for her, and Damon was helping to win her back. There were also dead bodies went piling up.

Actor Michael Malarkey, who plays Enzo, was recently interviewed by Collider, and he mostly talked about his part on the "The Vampire Diaries" series, especially now that the seventh season is almost over.  The actor also shared some of his thoughts about the relationship between Enzo and Bonnie (Kat Graham), and how he learned about this plan.

Malarkey mentioned that he is happy that he is in his fourth "TVD" season now and thought that it would just be short stint, one season, and then it would be over.  Enzo, on his part, has made a great transformation with all the pain that has happened to him.

He then mentioned that the next episode will put emphasis on the Enzo-Bonnie relationship, describing it as "quite a lovely episode."

The site also mentioned that Malarkey's character can be considered a balanced one in the current season.  The actor explained that during the previous season where Enzo was more on the bad side -- when the character was full of revenge -- it affected his own personal life.  However, he is currently happier than before.

During the course of the interview, the actor was asked about the relationship between Enzo and Bonnie and what could he say about it.  Surprisingly, he said, "Oh, my god, you have no idea how crazy it's going to get! It's pretty intense. It's of Shakespearean propositions. Enzo is poisoning the love of his life without his own knowledge of it. That's huge!"

He then added, "What a terrible thing to happen to two people who have just finally found something, after years of not having anything. But, that makes all of the scenes very high stakes and very intense. There's a crazy twist coming up, that you'll find out very soon."

The Futon Critic posted the synopsis for episode 20, "Kill 'Em All," which says, "A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL - With Bonnie's (Kat Graham) life at stake and an uphill battle ahead of them, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) lead the charge to save Bonnie before her condition worsens. Stefan (Paul Wesley) reluctantly teams up with Matt (Zach Roerig) for the sake of Bonnie and uncovers the truth behind Matt's anger towards him. Elsewhere, determined to help her best friend, Caroline (Candice King) joins Alaric (Matt Davis) on a mission and quickly realizes how much she's missed her former supernatural lifestyle. Finally, after their plan takes an unexpected turn, Damon makes a fateful decision that will forever change his relationship with Bonnie,"

Kellie Cyrus took the helm for the next episode, while Chad Fiveash and James Stoterau wrote the script.

"The Vampire Diaries" airs on The CW every Friday at 8 p.m. EST
