"The Sims 4" is about to receive another expansion pack by next month. Publisher EA, Electronic Arts, has recently announced the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) called "City Living," where the Sims will be able to experience the chaotic metropolis life. It is scheduled to be released on Nov. 1.
The upcoming DLC's official description reads: "Take your Sims to the city and explore everything it has to offer, from bustling action outside to unique situations that come only with apartment living. Fulfill your Sims' dreams in the diverse city of San Myshuno, and discover new neighborhoods and festivals. Experience the charm and challenges that come with your Sims' first apartment, then work your way up the penthouse of your Sims' dreams."
A trailer was released for the upcoming expansion pack, where it shows how the urban dwellers spend their time in San Myshuno, a coastal city. The city is filled with activities, daytime or nighttime, and is populated with restaurants, coffee shops, malls, bars, street entertainment, and a lot more.
Players can bring their Sims to play street basketball in one of the districts, spend some good time with friends at the Karaoke Bar, or a date at the Romance Festival. There is even a geek convention available. There will be a total of five Festivals to check out on the expansion pack, according to the EA's blog post.
The Sims are expected to rent their own apartment once they moved into the new city. However, no alterations can be performed on a rented unit, except on a penthouse one. There will also be new careers waiting for the Sims.
GameNGuide added that hotels were also seen in the trailer, and they are speculated to be accessible to the players. Their Sims could probably spend a day or two relaxing or having a romantic night for couples. It is not certain, however, if players will have the option to be a hotel or restaurant connoisseur.
"The Sims 4 - City Living" DLC will be released on Nov. 1 for US$49.90, and it will be available for Windows and Mac.
