The Rock returning to WWE rumors: Is Wrestlemania 32 the earliest possible return for The Rock?

Dwayne Johnsonn alias The Rock, the most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment, made a surprise appearance in Boston recently, but this should not spark any speculation that he is putting on his tights soon.

The surprise appearance took place because Johnson just happened to be in the area while he was shooting on location for Central Intelligence opposite Kevin Hart. For those who missed it, the Rock had a segment with Bo Dallas that night and as one could guess, the Rock ended his appearance with his signature Rock Bottom.

Aside from that, there are no scheduled plans that indicate that Johnson will be frequenting the WWE scene. With a full schedule ahead of him, the earliest that the WWE Universe may see the Rock could possibly be at Wrestlemania 32.

Rumors about a possible Triple H and Rock match have been in the air for months now, and Johnson did mention in an interview with Sports Illustrated that he and the WWE COO were talking about creating something amazing.

However, this may all depend on the Rock's schedule. With a busy plate, even the much talked about Wrestlemania card may not materialize.

The Rock was on hand at Wrestlemania 31 alongside UFC Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. That segment is considered one of the brightest for this year's Wrestlemania, reaching a point where fans hope to see a mixed tag match between the Rock and Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

All that was shot down when UFC president Dana White said Rousey was over and done with, and the focus shifted to a possible one-on-one match between the Rock and Triple H. Now even that is in question.

For now, it seems that there is no telling when The Rock will make an appearance. Hence, everything is left to chance and when The Rock is available.

The best chance is when the WWE is in town and The Rock is doing a shoot. When that happens, the probability of seeing him make a surprise appearance will be likely.
