"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Fields expressed her honest sentiments regarding the girls' trip to Miami on the previous episode of the Bravo show.
It would seem that Fields was not built for all the drama that comes along with the reality television series. Since most of the show's concept has to do with controversy, gossip and a lot of wining and dining, it is certainly refreshing to see one of its cast members call out the painfully obvious.
"I don't get all of this," said Fields of the whole shebang.
Fields was quick to point out the ensuing craziness that unfolded right before her and the audience's eyes. It was clear to many viewers that she was the most reasonable and grounded out of all the girls, and perhaps that's why she has become such a fan-favorite.
Instead of sipping champagne and lounging around their boat, Fields was missing her husband and children terribly. She would much rather be spending time with them than with the other housewives.
In other news, Fields' closest friend out of all the girls, Phaedra Parks, is reportedly not interested in dating anyone any time soon.
E! Online was able to catch up with Parks to talk about her impending divorce from Apollo Nida, which was announced last year. The mother of two has yet to finalize her split from Nida (who is serving an 8-year sentence for bank fraud) and she has expressed that she has no intention to date as long as she is still legally married.
"Once I divorce I will definitely consider dating," Parks said, "but at this point, my sons [Dylan and Ayden] are my first priority."
Understandably, Parks is putting parenting on the top of her list, even though it will definitely be difficult since she has to do it alone.
"I think being a single mom is tough because you're the sole provider and you have all the responsibilities on your shoulders," she opined.
Fans will have to tune in to watch more of these ladies' lives unfold. "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 episode 7 will air on Dec. 20.
