'The Flash' spoilers, plot update: Leaked photos show Flash, Arrow and Firestorm team up

Will fans finally see the much awaited union of three popular superheroes?

The three heroes in mention are the Flash, Arrow and Firestorm. The three popular DC characters could possibly team up as the season finale of the Flash is fast approaching.

The leaked photos came out from Grant Gustin News where photos of the three characters were shown. This comes after the expected revelation of the Reverse Flash or Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). All this of course is part of another Flash-Arrow crossover where main characters from both shows are expected to work together.

There have also been rumors suggesting that the Atom (played by Brandon Routh) could also be part of the team-up. Other rumors have also questioned who their adversary would be? Reverse Flash is one name that has been mentioned.

Others have mentioned Grodd the Gorilla, who is on the loose, but it seems that so far, nothing has been heard from him.

Could he be teaming up with the likes of Captain Cold? How about an alliance with Ra's Al Ghul? The super villain (or villains) are bound to be something that a sole DC superhero may find tough to handle and hence the reason for the team-up.

If not one, maybe a group of villains who join forces could become a problem for the Justice League heroes. That is certainly a possibility.

As for the supporting cast, expect detective Joe West to work in hand with Captain Quentin Lance. So what will the roles of the likes of Felicity, Black Canary, John Diggle and Arsenal be?

Whatever the case, the Flash-Arrow spinoff is certainly something worth watching out for as both shows head into their climactic season finales.
