'The Flash' spoiler: Reverse Flash identity confirmed

After a long wait, episode 15 of the Flash is finally out. And as expected, new developments have been revealed, led no less by the question on whether Harrison Wells' (Tom Cavanagh) identity would finally be spilled out in the open.

Wise as he is, Harrison Wells has apparently come up with a brilliant idea to maneuver the whole thing. His secret remains safe for now as he was able to stage the perfect scenario to somehow direct the Reverse Flash's identity to Eobard Thawne (more familiar to most perhaps as Professor Zoon), the same character from the DC comic fame.

A trap was supposed to be architected by Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) to trap the Reverse Flash. However, Cisco was left puzzled at how the Reverse Flash was able to escape the containment trap. As it turns out, the trap was never effective in the first place and was really planned by Wells to waylay plans of finding out that he is actually the Reverse Flash.

Thawne is best known as the Flash's arch enemy and makes a startling revelation with regards to his true intent. His actual goal was to kill Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) but unfortunately claimed the life of his mother.

Other than the main concern of Flash fans, there are other twists as well. That included the entry of a not-so new Flash character with Mark Mardon (Liam McIntyre) entering the fray as the new Weather Wizard.

Mark is the brother of the previous Weather Wizard, Clyde, who carries a refined mastery of weather elements. He holds detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) responsible for his brother's death and holds him captive.

There were a lot of new plots which may be gearing up the Flash for its season finale so expect the next couple of episodes to take the twists to another level. The Flash continues next Tuesday with "Rogue Time" episode. You can check the preview for that coming episode below.
